Mediacom problems

I just reformatted my computer and i know a decent bit about computers but im having trouble reinstalling my mediacom internet. My dad has a computer that send the signal into our router (a Linksys Model EZXS55W Router) and then over that on a lan to my computer.

If anyone knows how i could get my mediacom internet set up again id appreciate it.

best solution would be to wire u're computer to the router, then both computers would send out and and in, and then both could share files once the network was set up.

i dont have the cd that came with all the install files on it. is there any other way i could install it? anything on my control panel->network settings or anything?
