Memory Upgrade not working right

Upraded my Dell 8300 memory to 1GB. PC is really fast now. However, some programs are not loading due to "not enough free virtual memory". I don't get it. The settings are 1534 in the paging file now. What can I do?

How much "free space" is left on the hard drive... Is the computer free of viruses and other malware?

Are you adjusting the page file manually or letting windows control your page file? Since you have 1gig of RAM I would let windows adjust your page file for you. Some people here might argue this process but really, adjusting your page file was and is a thing of the past when every single KB and even MB of ram counted. Now with systems containing over 1 gigs or more this is no longer an issue.
