According to this CNet article, Micron, owners of our long-time supporter Crucial, has gained ground against memory chip rival Samsung Electronics in the first half of this year. For all your RAM needs we definitely recommend you to check these guys out, Crucial has a neat online store always accesible from our banner at the right side of your screen.

Micron's share of revenue in the dynamic random access memory (DRAM) market rose to 21.2 percent in the first half of 2003 from 18.5 percent in 2002, according to a study from market research firm Semico Research. Samsung's market share for the same periods slipped to 29.1 percent from 31.7 percent.

It'd be great to see Micron expand, and I certainly agree they have high quality memory.
They build a facilty in Highland, UT a few years back but never finished it and moved in (their HQ is in Boise, ID).

It is pretty empty these days.
