Microsoft attempts to steer Windows users away from local accounts

Not true. Before Windows XP, Microsoft was a decently trustworthy company. Starting with XP and the activation crap, they became the "real winners" they are today.
This is what you get though for basically free versions of an os... They add the crap in to pay for it. I would prefer to pay more upfront and have zero bloat. Most normal people though don't care

I would rather pay for Windows.. Oh wait, I do!

Why would you do that when you can buy legit keys for 30$
Simple. Your $30 key is licensed for for 1(one) device installation and is not transferable. Mine is licensed for me and any device I want to use it on and IS transferable.

And a normal user isn't doing what you are doing. And my point is Microsoft needs to have revenue to keep security and updates going. So they get money off your data.. or they charge more initially or they charge a yearly fee..

I don't know where to start with how flawed this thinking is, so I'm not going to bother..
