Microsoft to acquire video game maker Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion

I would bet that they buy Ubisoft before EA. But I agree that Microsoft's video game shopping spree likely is not over. It seems like they're determined to over-take Sony.
You are the 2nd one to mention Ubisoft over EA and now that I have thought about it, I can see why. Ubisoft has a great working relationship with MS, so yeah, they would be a good choice for an acquisition.

I'm back and forth on this acquisition thing, honestly, but at least MS games will still be on PC. Sony still seems to want to hold on to new releases like they gave birth to them.

Another strike against a Microsoft/EA acquisition is the Activision acquisition: Why buy Battlefield when you just bought Call of Duty? Microsoft would own Halo, Call of Duty, and Battlefield: the three major online team FPS games. It would likely (flimsy) monopoly lawsuits.
Though, I can see the appeal of buying EA to get at the rights to make Star Wars games and a lot of sports franchises.
