Monitor display with full of white spots suddenly

I have a sony viao laptop and I am working on this for the past 3 years with no problems.

Today I started my laptop and my monitor started showing me white spots and the display started showing big icons and white spots.

I tried restoring the PC to the last working ,did not work.

The display is proper till windows loads, after loading it is gone

Some one please suggest what might be the problem. I have attached the screenshot also

that looks like you need to set the resolution and color depth to me.
