Monitor screen goes black

hi guys

my moniter screen kept on going black after about 15 minutes after i start it , i changed the computer but kept the moniter , but the screen kept on going black.
Just before it goes black the screen flashes a bit aswell

when it goes black i have to restart the computer , my computer is windows XP

can anyone help please?

Can you try another monitor just to see if it's a monitor or computer problem?

i have tried another moniter and that one works , so it is a moniter problem
