motherboard and more memory or just better motherboard

what would have a greater effect when gaming, if I bought 512 mb (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16820223006) of ram (i already of 512 mb) and a mother with 800 fsb (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813128292) or if I just bought amotherboard with 1000 fsb (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813127178) Just forget about the prices Please.

If you have a cpu that can take advantage of 1000 fsb, then by all means

i'd have taken the extra 512 megs of ram. 512MB of DDR400 isn't to good for a high end system these days. besides, the single channel memory interface of one stick would have limited performance regardless of the fsb speed increase.
