Inactive Multiple instances of internet explorer keep running

That doesnt work, cant take ownership of C drive only folders
Took ownership of windows folder but I cant even get into C drive when I reboot.

OK, got my c drive back but im still seeing 3 or 4 instances of iexplore.exe popping up, then returning a while after I end them in task manager...

See if same thing happens in safe mode with networking.
