Well the DVR for our surveillance system at worked died the other day and we need to replace it. But I don't know much about them. The one we have now is made by Q-See and I hate it. The remote view is terrible and ONLY works in IE. Menu's are slow and glitchy, and its just obnoxious to do anything on it.
I'm kinda looking at Aposonic A-S0801R8-400 8 Channel H.264 Pentaplex Standalone DVR Comes with Built-In 500GB HDD iPhone/Mobile Phone Live View But again really don't know crap about them.
Only requirements are that it can take at least 8 cameras and a remote viewing interface that actually works correctly.
any suggestions at all would be great.
