  1. My computer screen keeps turning blue with the following message.

    STOP: 0x0000007A
    atapi.sys. Address F9B2C130 base F9B1B000 Date Stamp : 41107b4d

this happens several times a day, some days not at all, but seems to happen after logging onto internet and being on for awhile or whenever I leave my computer on, come back hours later to a blue screen. my pointer starts to freeze, nothing will work, then after a few seconds puff! it has the BSOD.

    Dell Dimension 4500
    Windows XP Home
    256 ram
    2.4 GB
    Maxtor 6Y200PRO

this started on August 17th, a month or so before I installed a new keyboard and wireless mouse, a few weeks later I installed a Hewett Packard all in one printer, scanner and copier.

I did run a drivers update scan from Driver Agent, listed several outdated drivers, my NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420 wwas outdated so I updated that, I went to the trouble shooting article posted on this site (very good) I was going to post some of my mini dumps here but don't know how, can any one help me with this? any help at this point would be most welcome, Im no computer guru by far, thanks guys!
