Need help with BF2 multiplayer

first off, idk if this is in right catergoy so plz dont delete if it is. whenever i try to join a bf2 server on multiplayer, it starts loading and than kicks me out of game. i have a 2008 acer computer. any suggestions on how to make it work?

You might have PunkBuster turned off or not installed. Try turning it on or installing it.

If you want to manually update punkbuster to make sure you have the most current version, download it from here:

Scroll about halfway down the page and you'll see the download link.
