New Dell laptop and I can't get the office network to recognize it. Using a Linksys wireless (but everything is hard wired since we had sharing errors with neighbors). Can't make a network disk - no floppy drive, try to make it without the disk and i get an error about see the administrator about permissions- have no idea where to change that,,,cause I don;t know much but the MS wizard seems to know less. Workgroup is named the same, the new pc can get to the internet through the same router, but i can't get it to see the printers or other computers. I need Networks for Dummies.
