building a fresh PC
asrock 939dual-sata2 mobo
western digital raptor HD
939 amd 3500+
radeon x800gto pcix16 video
kingston valueram 512 x2
when i power up, the cpu,case, and Video card fan all spin, the keyboard lights up,..but i cant get anything out of the monitor, and i hear no beeps.
a friend with pc knowledge told me to disconnect everything but the mobo, ram,video and keyboard and it still wouldnt work.
i have tried resetting the CMOS for 5 mins, also tried removing the battery for 5 mins.
tried known good ram in the same slots, have tried a known good pci card in the regular pci slots to no avail
are there any step by step processes so i could determine what piece of my build is malfunctioning? i am suspecting the motherboard, but the reviews have said this motherboard is bulletproof
any help would be greatly appreciated.
