New rig not working on startup

So i wanted to get my 2nd comp running so i purchased pretty much everything to replace the old and i still cant get it to work. First off the case speaker does not work for some reason so i hear no beeps for the beep code. When i bootup the monitor stays in standby mode which is the orange light on mine. I have also tried the agp slot video card I had lying around and it didn't display either.

Please tell me if i have conflicting hardware or any ideas of what it could be.

I have a cdrom drive already that works and keyboard and mouse. I have also tested my monitor with my other comp to make sure it worked.

sometime the CMOS jumper will (on new boards) come in the shorted position. Check to see it covers the correct jumper setting.. and that it is there at all!
