A new version of TweakDB is now available:-

Changes since Version 1.4 (Beta) :-

6 New Tweaks
Finally fixed CPU Information (NT/2K/XP)
Added CPU Core Identification Routine
(Please check this is working - email me if not)
Cleaned up Interface (by Removing unused crap)
Added More Pages to allow for more tweaks
Added Help Buttons to All tweaks
Added some more tweaks to the Wizard
Lots of Bug Fixes and small improvements

I would appreciate any feedback, particularly regarding the CPU Core detection, as it is my own method of core detection and I have only been able to test it on a couple of machines.

Post replies here, or email me at adixon@stickney7.freeserve.co.uk

That site is running very slow. It is probably me as I am a ways away from you, but just thought you might want to know.

Also just tried to download 2.1 and it says the URL is not available.

I don't know why, it seemed to upload alright last night, but it does not appear to be there now. I will upload it again later, but for the minute just download the update (and Version 1.0 if you haven't got a copy)

I finally downloaded it, as I've recently reinstalled W2k...

First off, the text on the buttons are hard to read on my system w2k sp3, Radeon 9700pro (rest of specs in profile)

The wizards should have an "ok" button when you've been through all the info/done with the process.
I.e. I just did a backup of my registry, and I had to push cancel after it was done... (just a minor niggle, but still)

And when I go to system information, the box for my video card info is too small to let me see all the info (see attached pic)

And here are some suggestions:

Grey out tweaks (checkboxes) that are not available on the current system (I.e. I shouldn't be able to use any nvidia tweaks, as I'm running an ATI card)

Add an option to set startup folder for Explorer (I never can remember how to set it to open My Computer instead of My Documents as default...)

Aside from that, great app :)
