When is it being released? XP's been around for 4 years.

The beta release of "Longhorn" will be released sometime from June till the end of 2005.

The final release is expected to arrive sometime next year

That's a bit of a stupid name for an operating system.

"Longhorn" is not the offical name of the OS it is it's codename. just as XP was known as "Whistler"
