No Sound...multimedia audio controller

my computer recently got destroyed and i had to install windows XP all over again and now i have no sound

i have emachines: T1842

a have tried new updates and nothin worked looked at forums and couldnt find anything really

i went to emachines.com and downloaded all the downloads available for my computer and still no song

on manage computer wit the yellow question marks a still need my:

Multimedia audio controller

Video controller (VGA Compatible)

any help would be greatly appreciated

From eMachines, I would download the Chipset driver and install that first. Reboot.
File: http://downloads.emachines.com/drivers/chipset/845GL_4.00.1009.exe

Then download the Intel 845GL Video Driver from eMachines, unzip it and install from "setup.exe" second. (Reboot if necessary.)

Then last, download the Realtek AC'97 Audio Driver from eMachines. Unzip the file and install from "Drivers\Audio\Patch\269601USA8.EXE" first. (Reboot if necessary.) Then install "Drivers\Audio\Setup.exe" last.
