No sound using xp with sblive

Hi I need some help please. I just put xp on my system doing a complete wipe of my old me, now my soundblasterlive does not work even downloading all the drivers for xp that is calls for has not helped me. I have also had it were xp will not even load it locks up when it comes to loading the sound, when going into device manager it tells me all is working fine with no conficts please HELP!!!!!!

If you would kindly fill in the user profile with your full system details I.E mobo.cpu,hdd,graphics card,sound card etc It will enable us to help you quicker.

For example you say you have the soundblaster live sound card but which one as there are several different versions.

Have you been to the website of your soundcard manufacturer? It`s www.soundblaster.com/drivers

If after doing this you still have the problem then post back and we`ll see what else we can come up with to help you.
