No wireless connection

Hi all. While trying to set up my housemate's wireless connection, we uninstalled the D-Link wireless client he was using, and realised that that was the only wireless connection he had under Network Connections. How do we set up a new connection for XP to use with its own wireless client?

You probably uninstalled the drivers for the wireless adapter too. Reinstall the drivers, but not the D-Link software.
