That's why I dumped Norton some time ago, and now I'm happy with AVG

I will also add, a couple of weeks ago i was sorting out an old hp pavilion for a friend of a friend, it took almost 25 minutes to boot. I uninstalled norton, and it rebooted in about 1 and a half minutes. It was then able to install a whole load of xp updates that it had downloaded automatically. I then removed 150 bits of spyware and 3 viruses and the pc now works as well as it ever will.

I can't understand why some people still uses Norton.... It's complete junk.
