Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Review: Should You Buy One? Can You?

Spending more than $200 on a GPU is almost pointless unless you're using it to make money, given how few worthwhile new games there are. And I say this as someone who got a 5600XT last year.

#1 I use my 3090FTW3 to earn money on Youtube from videos - like the entire Cyberpunk playthrough I did.

#2 I actually record the waits in lines to use as Youtube videos.

#3 I make enough money already - prior to Youtube - that the Youtubbing is just a fun hobby so the 3090FTW3 I bought has a primary purpose of giving me pleasure as I relax with my games.

Then it's entirely reasonable for you to spend that much money on a GPU. But for most people getting a 3080 would be a waste of money.

People have already suffered under COVID-19 and are cash strapped, there is no covid relief cheque in any of the Third World countries unlike the USA or Japan. Many people I know including self have their income reduced by 25%-50% depending on sector employed.
Sure the market may recover collectively, but individually it's a long walk alone.

Sadly as everything is going, it shows that independently if a rich or not so country is, people spend money with no limits when gaming is the matter. I know people that are in "first world countries" with low income since March 2020 (only a small help from the government) and they still buy and spend a lot on gaming. Why?! ...

And don't make mistakes: people will spend what they have and what they don't, for their favorite sport team, gaming or parties. If you ask them to give something for the health, poor or help someone you'll hear "I have no money". The world in 2021.
