i forgot to say earlier that its a EXTERNAL hardrive 200GB
omg thats huge to back up... uhhuuhuh...

maybe you can try using Flash Disinfector to clean the Thumb Drive. I got this problem before.. but i manage to get rid of it.

just looked at yout hjt log and the version that you are using is out of date. this makes anyones efforts to help probably usless as it may be giving wrong info.
you have not followed all of howards instruction HERE first.
