Only a bug ?

My icons on the right of the start bar shows me 2 network connections.
But I have only one installed.
when I run Ipconfig/all it still shows only one connection.

I am asking if it could be a virus or trojan of some kind, or simply a bug

Do a ipconfig /all and look at the results, there are some programs that install a network connection such as bluetooth or similar.

you're just fine there are two DIFFERENT Icons
the one with two pcs, one behind the other is for the NIC adaptor itself
and the other with the globe will report your LAN ip address(s).

your ipconfig /all is just fine!
