I have NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 (Microsoft Corporation) 56.73 and it is the latest for my GPU.

However everytime I try to load Call of Duty it always says cannot load OpenGL.

Please advice.

OpenGL is a software component and should have been installed with the game;
uninstall and reinstall.

edit: oops! It's installable from the XP CD
see this article

First, check if Hardware Acceleration is turned on. To do this:
1) Open the Start Menu and select "Run."
2) Type the word "dxdiag" (with no quotation marks) and in the window that pops up, click No.
3) When the DirectX Diagnostic Tool has finished loading, select the Display Tab.
4) Verify that DirectDraw Acceleration is enabled. If it is disabled, enable it.
5) Verify that Direct3D Acceleration is enabled. If it is disabled, enable it.
6) Exit the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to save your changes.
If DirectDraw Acceleration is already enabled, download the latest driver for your video card from here and install them.
After doing this, try to run the game again.
