My boyfriend received an email with a file of a clip of a video, I sent it to my email. I'm trying to find out the original time stamp date on it, how would I be able to do that? After I received it I saved it to my phone's gallery.

Open a window on the directory containing the file
right-click on the file->Properties
on the General Tab are the timestamps; Created, Modified, Accessed
When the file was first saved or newly created by you, the Created timestamp will record the event date
As it was emailed to you, when you did the Save, the Created date will be that event, NOT that date of origination.

I have it saved on my phone not a laptop or regular computer so all I can do is go to gallery, click on video and click on upper right hand corner to get details
