Outlook calendar - auto-update Today

Hi. I've looked through teh Google results, but I can't find anything. Maybe I'm using the wrong search terms.

In Outlook (specifically 2013) you can press Today to go to the calendar view for today.

My problem is, that this doesn't auto-update. The next day rolls around, but the calendar view sticks. I need it to auto-update.

Any ideas?

F.W.I.W., I just googled "how to auto-update outlook calendar" & I too found nothing so I'm guessing it can't be done so it'd be easier to (re)view past calendar events. Hmmm

Hi,

Sometimes we set parameters in Outlook for sending/receiving of emails by making changes in “send/receive settings”. Might be you are encountering such error because you have defined the parameter such as “X” minutes to send/receive (which is at high, like 25-30mints). Disable the “Schedule an automatic send” or decrease the time interval.

Follow the given instructions to make changes in Send/Receive settings:

Open Outlook > Press shortcut key Ctrl+Alt+S > Send Receive groups dialog box appears on your screen.

In addition, also check the “Update Limit” dialog box when configuring the Google ICAL file to Microsoft Outlook.
