Overclocking my AMD Athlon x2 4200+ 939 socket

im trying to overclock my

AMD Athlon x2 4200+ 939 socket

(dfi lanparty nf4 sli-dr) motherboard

Coolmaster V8 for a 'top hat'


any ideas, I have heard it is possible to run at 2.8 GHz

The 4200 is not a great OC'er. if you have the ability to change the voltage in your bios, you may be able to get 2.65 +/- @ 1.45v. 2.8 is the best case scenario and will probably take 1.55 Vcore to do it.....(although you have the cooler to try it)
