P5LD2 Deluxe restarts just as soon as windows trys to load

So i have all the new stuff for my pc but god hates me or something.

any ways the new stuff..well kinda.
P5LD2 Deluxe
P4 630 3 GHz.
Antec True Power 2.0 550watt
LeadTec 6800 GS

The problem is just as it starts to load windows it restarts and trys again. I havnet tried to reload windows yet, but just seem like it would be a wast of time as i have had this HD in my dads comp, old roomates comp, and new roommate comp with out and problems. more or less to me seems like windows thinks something is over heating or just wrong and or something like that.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

your hard drive still contains the drivers for your old mobo, it won`t work with the new mobo.

Try doing a Windows repair, as per this thread HERE

If that doesn`t work, then you should be prepared to reformat and reinstall.
