Page cannot be displayed

I have IE 6 and it wont load for site like google.com instead it says the page cannot be displayed. Before it was functional but now its giving so much trocle and installations cannot be don either. Please help me, anyone.

Uninstall your AVG Antivirus
Then run the removal tool
Here is the 32Bit version (most users): http://www.avg.com/filedir/util/avg_arm_sup_____.dir/avgremover.exe
Here is the 64Bit version: http://www.avg.com/filedir/util/avg_arv_sup_____.dir/avgremoverx64.exe

Uninstall that really old version of HijackThis too

Run CCleaner

Install Avira free AntiVirus
