Panasonic Toughbook CF-29

I'm planning on buying a Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 and the website's that I've been reading says that they are good Laptops. But when I talked to Computer Repair Shops they tell my that they are out of date and not good to buy. I'm wanting to know if the Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 is still a good Laptop? The one I'm planning on buying is a MK3.

It was (back in 2005 - 2010) a fine laptop ( http://www.trustedreviews.com/panasonic-toughbook-cf-29-rugged-notebook-review ). Today, even though 'rugged', it may not run modern software well. Most units are offered as Refurbished and will not have long warranty periods. Drivers and repairs may be hard to find.

If you have a special requirement for 'rugged' equipment, you may find this a useful system, but you may have to rely on an older operating system which may leave you open to malware attacks.

It might run Windows 10, I'd try it. I do agree with Cycloid though... The Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 is cheap on Ebay with Windows XP SP3 installed
