PC boot problem

HI I have a gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 board with intel core2 duo proc ocz pc8500 1gb ram multipul hdd / dvd drives.

the problem started the other evening when i powered down the system unplugged everything from it and took it to my shed where i opened it up and blew the dust out using my air compressor which i have done many times before.

When I plugged it all back in and pressed the power button it just spun the fans for about 3 seconds them powered off for 5 seconds them powered on I pressed the power button but no responce so used the switch on the back of the psu.

I have since stripped the system to just the board, proc and ram still it does the same think its the psu or switch after reading many other posts but am not sure.

Sounds like the PSU to me, do you have a spare to try.

not to hand ordered i last night which will be here tomorrow as that was my thinking as well as a new case as i might be the switch will post saturday with results ( hoping it works )

but it still does the same looks like i am buying a new motherboard
