PC doesnt work, help!!

Hi, i have a 2 year old emachines desktop, and its been working fine up until now. Whats wrong with it is that when i turn the computer on, it doesnt display anything on the screen, and the mouse and keyboard dont work either, and only the fan is on. Also the light around the power button turns into a solid orange color. Also the computer smells like burned rubber. Also last night i uninstalled my old nvidia drivers, and installed new ones, but it was working fine last night after i had done that.

Please if someone can help me ASAP it would be greatly appreciated

Take a look at your motherboard. Any of your capacitors swollen or leaking?

nope, but i asked my uncle about it whose a comp engineer, and he said that i probably fryed my motherboard

It'd pay to try another Power Supply before blaming the Motherboard.

Fans can still spin etc, it only takes 1 rail not to work and she wont boot.

Can you pinch one from another machine just to verify that it's not the PSU?
