PC to TV hooked up w/ S-video cord, but TV is showing in Black & White

I am currently showing a DVD from my computer onto my television screen. I have an S-video cord hooked up but my television monitor is showing in Black and White ..... Help!!! Any help would be greatful. I am a school teacher and my students are getting tiresome!!!

could be

Driver issue - make sure you have latest drivers

Connector issues - If you use adapter -> SCART connectors only supports composite video and therefore if you are using S-Video you will only be able to receive a black and white picture. If you are using S-Video connector you may wish to use the S-Video to SCART pro (pro-SCART-6)

TV modes - PAL or NTSC -> make sure comp and TV are on same mode

Try updating your video drivers? Change the screen mode from the PC to 800x 600 and the refresh to 60Hz.
