Long story short I decided to install pcsx2 onto my PC and play some old ps2 games. Everything went smoothly and the actually game boots and I have assigned a memory card slot for some data. However, my pc won't let me map controller settings and tell me something about 'write protection and admin access' comes up and blocks me. Now I have been told that this emulator loves to enforce security protocols and coincides well with windows security, but that only happens when the application is installed in c:/ and certain parts of program files. I reinstalled it in d:/ ( which is my mechanical Hard Disk ) which should have let me play the game I wanted to play. But the same thing happened again and again. Any suggestions? Preferably without re installation?
