i got a new blu-ray dvd drive ive plugged it in to the sata cable in the computer its not showing up on windows or in the bios is there another connection i need there is power going into it

The compatibility list contains a limited number of motherboards (and PCI cards) supporting SATA that have been factory tested with Pioneer Blu-ray Disc drives
