Plan for car subwoofer... opinions?

Hey all,

OK here's the plan! Someone shoot it down if they find a hole in it!

-140W Power Transformer DC -> AC (Cigarette Lighter Adapter)

-New Car Deck with Aux Input

-120W RMS Logitech Z-2300 8" Subwoofer (from PC 2.1 System)

-8GB iPod

So, I plug in the subwoofer to the AC power transformer (satellite speakers disconnected and not used) then I have an output splitter for the iPod. One line is connected with a male-male line into the Auxillary input on the car's deck, one line connected directly to the Z-2300's input line.

Attached is my extremely scientific schematic of the whole idea for clarification.

It looks good on paper. What do you think?

Thanks!

Might pop the fuse in your transformer. I know 140>120, but there will likely be peak draws above what the transformer can do. Then again, they might be short enough that the fuse won't heat up enough to melt. Or you could use a bigger fuse :D (probably shouldn't do that).

Lol im beginning to think its not the best idea given its a manual and the transformer's bulkiness may stop me from putting it into 5th gear... and the whole idea of the fuse popping with my luck the car's fuse would pop or i'd screw up the alternator/battery.
