Play Battlefield 2142 for money?

So I was wondering if there is any way to play Battlefield 2142 for money? -like cs1.6
and cs:s on FragArena...

Or do I just have to arrange some kind of "happening"/tournament where there is
money involved?

Um, I would assume if there is competitive gaming scene in 2142 you should check with them as they would most likely know about tournaments and competitions if any. I've never played the game and can't really say.

look up random leagues like cal. even though its dead. there are plenty of new ones
