The next Battlefield game goes back to basics: After 2042 snafu, new official details are revealed

The last good BF game was the Battlefield 2 PC demo. One map, dedicated servers, aircraft carrier and urban combat, what more was needed? It was even free.

For me, the last one I cared about was BattleField Vietnam. Everything since then has been unworthy of my time.

Sorry I'm old school and the best release was BF2 for one reason, community developed maps.The base game was good, but some of the community maps were sublime.
