About an hour after I put the new video card in my computer. It started feeking on me, like the picture was all fuzzy and screwed up, out of place, shouldnt look the way it should. I restart my computer. I see that everything is still out of place, when I get to windows XP loading. I see blue pars going up and down the screen. Then a blue flash with a bunch of leddering pops up for a spit second and then the computer restarts, it just keeps doing that over and over. I stuck in my friend's 6800 that worked fine so its not my motherboard i guess. I downloaded the latest drivers for the 6600 and installed them. I put back in my 6600 and it still does the same thing! What do i do? Is it over heating? Would it have to do with the power to my computer? I need help with this!

Asus Motherboard
AMD 3500+

It is highly unlikely that the 6800 is NOT overheating but the 6600 is.

If your friends 6800 is working fine in your computer, then you must have a bad 6600. Send it back and get a replacement. That's what I'd do anyways.

Good luck!
