Pro-Hong Kong protesters gathered at the gates of BlizzCon

I'm sorry, are we limiting ourselves now to just 1 event? Is that how it works?
I don't have time to search for more things so here, taken from reddit:

...That's it? Blizzard following a social trend for the pandering is the best you have? And not even during the big events where the platform matters most? Apples to oranges.

Heck, China blocks LGBT content. Why has this had such support then? Lol

What apples to apples dude? Should the size of the event even matter? They did it at Blizzcon too, is that event too small for you? The ban wasn't given at a "major" event anyway, the first prize was only 10k.

Fact: LGBT discussions are just as political as Honk Kong, but just one involves hurting China's "pride".
Fact2: many political/social discussions not involving China were not subject to punishments/bans
Blizzard: "We are not a platform for social or political views." -> this was the motive for the bans -> so hypocritical of them.

Don't tell me that you didn't know that Netease was involved in the discussion before the ban/punishment was given, because you obviously do. The same ppl who posted that the ban was given for the "pride" of China were involved in the decision to punish the player and casters.

You seem to have problems being consistent with your arguments. Now that I've shown you proof (something you thought that I would be too lazy to search for) you've changed your tune towards nitpicking about very specific things that are meaningless in our current topic.

Can't you at least try not to show your distain towards anyone criticising Blizzard? What? Is a friend of yours working there and you think that negative PR will affect his job? Or should I assume the worst? That you are just a simple fanboy.

Fact: It is mainstream to support LGBT in America, and encouraged by Blizzard (nothing controversial for them). And is an identity to some players, which would be encouraged to bring up during interviews.
China politics, however, have nothing to do with the game. If someone was wearing a MAGA hat during the interview saying "Vote Trump" I bet you would be the first one congratulating Blizzard on the ban. You just seem inconsistent like that.

So, apples to oranges. And that's still the best you've found for your so called "many political/social discussions not involving China were not subject to punishments/bans"?

Try again. Not a good example when trying to point out an "inconsistency".

I'm sorry but this is the first time I've seen someone calling a social/political movement "mainstream". Hell, Blizzard's own words are written in the comment you've quoted which clearly states that social discussions are not what they want. Nothing about being "mainstream" or not.

You are attempting to downplay the whole incident as if you don't know wtf happened and it's not working dude.

Yes, you are inconsistent and have the clear markings of a troll. When proven wrong, you switch the topic. I've seen way too many ppl like you and none of them were able to win an argument like that.

Thank you. You yourself said it: Blizzard banned them because of China; not because they talked about a social/political matter, but because it was related to China. You dug yourself in an even bigger hole with your contradicting comments.

Quote me on that. Because your BS is laughable at best.

I'd say try again, but you'll just make up some more BS and exaggerate the rest.

Puiu and m4a4, please discontinue your personal argument. If you must, continue your personal argument via PM. Thanks.
