Ok this is driving me crazy. I have an old geforce 4 mx 440 agp card. Since it sucks I went and bought a sapphire altantis 9800 card. I installed the card and when I turn on my PC the monitor refuses to come on. I can't see the boot screen or the windows loading screen. I can hear the drives spinning and the card appears to be getting power as the fan on it turns on. I have a p4 2 Ghz CPU w/1 gig or ram. My mobo is a PCCHipps m922 model with a 4x APG slot. To my discredit I did not take out the nvidia drivers first. My plan was to remove them after I got the new card in. But I should be able to see the BIOS and boot info even after I just put the card in correct?

Newer cards uses different voltages. Put the old card back in and then go into the BIOS ans seeif there are any AGP settings. You may also need to upgrade the BIOS and deffinately put in the latest chipset drivers. Go to Viaarena.com and download the Hyperion drivers.
