I have been told that if i change my motherboard and processor that xp will not load. Is this true? If so, what can I do? I have two hard drives, so can I just load xp again on one of them?

Yes, the the best thing for you to do would be to start over with a clean installation.

yep it's true if you change all your hardware and load up xp then you will probably get a nasty boot error and then you will have to reformat your whole drive.

well that kind of sucks, i guess i will have to reformat one of the hard drives, i should have no problem getting the other info off right?

Nope, once you get XP loaded onto one of them, you can copy over the data off the other drive as a backup.

You can also 'try' a repair of XP after you change your mobo. This 'could' work, but as stated above, it is much better to start clean.
