My web cam is not working, I have the installation cd with me but still the camera does not get installed. Thinking that my installation cd is not working, i downloaded the webcam driver from the web. BUt still the camera does not get installed.
My camera is LEBECA PC CAMERA (Panwest)
LEBECA PRO(PD6000)
E-C023-04-1875 (B)
When i click the PC camera from my start menu, it says that i do not have the video hardware, and when i click the lebeca viewer it does not show any image...
Please help me...
thank you

Hi Asbhu

If you're struggling to find the appropriate driver for your webcam, try this link ... https://www.techspot.com/vb/topic123880.html ....

From the info that you've provided however, it seems to be more of a hardware issue to me. When you plug the cam in, does the computer recognise that a new device has been plugged in? Your USB slot might be faulty or the cam might be damaged as well. Try different slots and see if it gets recognised. Do get back to us and let us know if you manage to sort out your problem. Good luck!

thank you so much for the help.... I tried all the steps but still i could not do my best. I searched the hardware id and it is ( USB VID_0c45&PID_602d&Rev_0101) and the second one is VID_0c45&PID_602d...
I guess the computer is not being able to find the driver itself... There is no lebeca hardware or camera image.... Please help me
Thank you

HI Spyder, I went thru the link that you had given me. It was this one which i had downloaded earlier and did not work. I tried to download today but it is downloaded restricted.....
The other one, driver detective, i liked it but i cannot afford to register coz no money with me...
I m still trying. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU

Are you XP? I'll assume you're not running Vista.

i think you'll find your driver right here in TechSpot. [post=738029]See this post.[/post] The OP's Hardware was USB\Vid_0c45&Pid_6007&Rev_0101 which isn't the same as yours, but i believe it is still designed to work in your cam. Try it and let us know.

P.s. Driver Guide (the site quoted by Spyder_1386) can be free and no registration!! Note their download options. One of them allows you to download for free if they can show you a few ads first (i think like 4-6 ads. Just click no thanks in usually bottom right corner) until you get the download (and for free!)

Hi LookinAround, thank you for the support, My com is XP. I tried with the OP's hardware download but it did not work. the computer could not find the driver.
mine is USB\VID_0c45&PID_602d&Rev_0101. Trying my best, and a helping hand needed from expert like you.
Thank you

Hi Spyder. i downloaded the driver from the driver guide, wheni open the set up thing it is there in my start menu and when i open it says (COPY OEMINF FAILED) and when i click Amcap it says (sorry you do not have video hardware)
I do not know how to do , getting confused more and more...please help me..........
thank you

Asbhu

When you look at your hardware ids is this the ONLY one displayed? I need to see each ID and in the same sequence as it's displayed. Either copy them exactly or try a screen snap shot and attach it your next post

Hi, Its written this way:...... USB\Vid_0c45&Pid_602d&Rev_0101 And in the second line it goes........ USB\Vid_0c45&Pid_602d..... The above mentioned is the hardware ID .

There is a Yellow ? mark and above it ,is an ![/COLOR] mark and on the side is written USB Camera....
I found this ID too but i do not know what this id is.for... USB\VID_0C45&PID_602D\5&25B52BC4&0&2 I hope you will get the rough idea about it... Thank you

My apologies!!! My error.

I sent you to the right thread.. but i sent you to the wrong post in the thread! Sorry! :blackeye:

Look at [post=738029]this post by Quicksilver26.[/post] That's the driver i wanted you try.

1) I know your Hardware ID is not an exact match as Quicksilver's but I looked at this driver and it supports more than just Quicksilver's and I think should support yours as well
2) While doing the install it MAY prompt you and say the drivers aren't "signed". Hit continue to install them anyway. (This means the drivers for this webcam didn't go through "Windows Logo" testing.. but is not to worry about)

Please let us if these drivers work better for you. (I hope so! but let us know)

Hey Asbhu

I've searched and searched for a driver for you but haven't found anything yet. I see that LookinAround is also helping you out. He's wayyyy better than I am at this .... I'll keep looking as well. Have you tried going to the store where you bought the cam and asking them for a driver? Try your luck maybe?
