Unclear. Please state SPECIFICALLY the problem or issue you are experiencing (I.e., computer starts frying eggs every morning at 7AM, though it is set to start at 6:45AM). Please provide information about your system and OS.

Wild guess...this might help...or it might not.

I dont see anything you guys are talking about in my pc, all I know is I hate I cannot just have no updates till I restart like it used to be

It might be a setting for another software...e.g an antivirus scanner...maybe the settings are to perform a quick scan every 8hours so u can look at those softwares for those settings and turn them off

Win/10 can NOT be made to not check for updates is my understanding :sigh:

This means, you may need to:
  1. download AND KEEP the vender's driver for your adapter
  2. and reinstall it after every MS Update cycle
(don't blame me - - I'm just the messenger)

That's why I still use win 8.1...I mean why does it have to be by force

I have yet to see a good reason by anyone, why MS forces updates on Windows home. I think Windows Pro is different. I have heard rumors that MS might change this in the future, but I have doubts about that.
