Problems with PC waking from sleep even after fresh install

Hi! Here's my thoughts. If you have done everything that's been suggested, then it may not be related to Windows. Possible another devise is causing your issue. Maybe even your neighbor.:)

I just cant have a antec quattro 1200watt gold running just cause the pc wants to turn itself on for whatever ungodly reason

That's why I still use win 8.1...I mean why does it have to be by force

You good sir are one brave man, I just stay the hell away from windows 8 anything.
Windows 10 may have its problems, but thats strictly to blame on microsoft newer programmers and engineer who refused to listen.
Other than that knowing the work arounds and disabling some needed junk.
Windows 10 is pretty good for what it does as soon as you get it under control.

Though this article is not Windows 10 specific, you may find it provides a structure for a planned troubleshooting.

A clean install using fresh download of the OS might also help.

Holdum323 suggests the possibility of inimical software - which might include an imbedded key-logger or miner. If you think it worth pursuing, put a message to Broni in the Virus & Malware forum.

Hi! A clean install is the best W10 install you will ever get. It requires some extra work and time. My theory is there are two kinds of trouble, hardware or software. A clean install like @Cycloid Torus suggests will eliminate software problems. I personally don't use the sleep option. My PC is either on all the time or shut down. What is the purpose of the sleep option? A faster start up? Why is this generation always in a hurry. If you insist on using the sleep option, I would be looking for another devise like a cellular phone, that's causing your issue. If this happens exactly every 8 hours, then some thing that has a timed option is causing your issue. This is the electronic age and every thing is wireless.;)

Hi A little humor for your issue. Maybe after sleeping for 8 hours, your PC decides to wake up and is ready to go to work. It just needed a good nights rest.

On my laptop, I use both Sleep / Hibernate - - both save battery vs cold start and come ready much quicker
