Hey all. I recently tried to install sp1 through Windows but due to some error it always fails. I heard that there were free programs available to help you install SP1.

Does anyone know of these or can they point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I haven't herd of any programs to install sp1, normally not required. I have herd that sp1 won't install on a system using a pirated key. Only fix for that is to get a valid product key. What error message do you get? I have also herd that if you hacked the ntoskrnl.exe file to change your bootscreen, sp1 won't install. SP1 looks for a certain version of ntoskrnl and won't install if it can't find it. I think the program to do this was styles?

Also, you can try downloading the full version of SP and run it from your hard drive instead of using the network setup.
