  1. Does the PSP have a camera built in or do you have to buy an external camera for it? Also I read that you need more software to watch videos is this true?

    The PSP does not have a built-in camera. I don't own a PSP, but as far as I know, you are going to need a means by which to:

    a) transform video into the appropriate resolution
    b) encode video into a compatible MPEG-4 format

    in order to watch videos from the memory stick. It should play the UMD videos without a hitch.

    But you buy an external camera for the PSP right?

    I'm not sure about accessories, but I know that you can put jpegs on it, so any digital camera will do if you have a means of getting the pictures onto the type of media that the PSP uses (I think it uses memory stick pro duo 2 or something like that--I don't pay attention to Sony 'standards').

    Does anyone have a PSP that can answer these questions better than me?
