Quicktime crackle

Hi,
When i boot up my machine the windows tune crackles a bit but its the same crackle type of sound if i play anything through quicktime player.

I have a series of tutorials that i watch with quicktime as they are .mov and the startup application that comes with it wants to use quicktime but these video tutorials have a little crackle/popping sound to them.

If i open them in media player they play perfect as does any of my music or videos.

So, is it a quicktime problem or my pc conflicting with quicktime hence the windows boot up tune suffering too.

All other windows sounds are fine once booted up.

Upgrade your sound card drivers. Or if its onboard upgrade the controller drivers.

When i go into device manager and click to update drivers, it says i have the most uptodate version ?

Device Manager has a poor idea of driver updates. You need to check with your motherboard or soundcard manufacturer for updates.
