if you have vista 32 bit it can only handle 4gb of ram and you wont need 8gb anyways unless you are doing some high end apps. i would try to get the lowest cas latency ram ddr2 800, i dont think that ddr 1066 at a higer cas is worth it as it may only give a tiny boost in performance if that for the price
